Redwood National Park

The Redwood National Park is one of the most inspiring places to visit in California. This national park is located in uppermost Northern California, where these Redwood trees cover a large stretch of the California coastline. Once you approach the Redwoods, you will be amazed by the massive size of the trees in which any person standing alongside a Redwood tree will appear like an ant.

The Redwood National Park is accessible off U.S. Route 101 traveling north. Ukiah, Ca is a good city to sleep overnight, as many lodges near the Redwoods are usually full to capacity. After leaving Ukiah, the Redwood National Park is within 50-60 miles north and is noticeable off U.S. Route 101.

These Redwood trees will come into plain view prior to reaching the hot spots in this national park, so tourists can expect to see a large portion of the forest within an hour of leaving Ukiah.

Off the 101, you will see that every inch of the mountains are smothered with vibrant trees. As a hotel manager shared, the Redwood National Park encases nature to preserve the beauty where sunlight has never reached from within. The Redwoods are a true test of how untouched nature can remain vibrant.

In a recent trip to the Redwood National Park, we took many photos of this surreal vacation spot. Enjoy the Redwood experience!
