Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is located in Northern California near Sierra Nevada. It is a 3 hour 27 minute drive from San Francisco and 3 hour 12 minute drive from Sacramento. Yosemite features the most breathtaking nature views, especially its exclusive waterfall. View a list of the waterfalls in Yosemite here.

Wildlife tend to appear in plain sight such as deer. We watched visitors pet a baby deer. The tall mountains, rivers, and the trees are relaxing to see. Now that the wildfire is 75% contained, there shouldn't be any problems with visiting Yosemite National Park.

According to local news outlets in Northern California, the fire never presented a danger to Yosemite National Park. Use precaution any time you decide to travel. It cost $20 per car to enter Yosemite.
