Columbia State Historic Park

A short drive from Sonora, California, Columbia features a historic town that is preserved from the 1800's. This western town is designated as a State Historic Park. Nevertheless, Columbia thrived during the California Gold Strike and managed to strike a fortune in gold.

There is no admission to this historic park. Columbia Park makes great use of their preserved facilities, where saloons, novelty stores and a few restaurants run inside Columbia Park.

The following pictures were taken while visiting Columbia Historic Park.
