Point Montara Lighthouse

Point Montara Lighthouse is located 7 miles north of Half Moon Bay. This lighthouse is also a Northern California Hostel. The cost to stay at the hostel ranges from $27 and up to $101, depending on room size guests choose.

If you enjoy lighthouses, then Point Montara will make an awesome experience. Point Montara lighthouse is 35 feet tall. It is free to view this lighthouse. However, visitors must sign-in at the office for record keeping purposes.

Point Arena Lighthouse

The Point Arena Lighthouse is a spectacular California lighthouse. It is located on Northern California coastline in Mendocino county. We recently traveled to this lighthouse.

Point Arena lighthouse is 115 feet high! It is one of the tallest West Coast lighthouses where you can climb up to the top.

Point Reyes Lighthouse

Point Reyes Lighthouse is located on the California coastline north of San Francisco, Ca. The Point Reyes lighthouse is 35 feet high. We drove from Point Arena, Ca to Point Reyes, which took 3.5 hours due to the slow turns. We arrived too late

It is important to mention that restrooms located at the entrance are extremely dirty and there is no hand soap. You have to hike .4 miles up the hill to reach lighthouse park store. Our recommendation is to use the restroom before driving to this lighthouse. If you must use the restroom, use the one located on the top of the hill. There is a 30 feet walk down the stairs to reach this lighthouse.

The Point Reyes lighthouse is 21 miles from Highway 1. Various portions of the road are in bad shape. Use precaution when driving to this lighthouse. The lighthouse closes at 4:30pm.

The Point Reyes lighthouse is a nice destination to view a California lighthouse.
